Promotion Conference of 2nd CIFTIS took its ground on October 15, 2012 in Vancouver, Canada. CCCICA, the only designated Canada cooperative organization , participated in organizing the whole event. The first stop of CIFTIS in North America was taking placing in early October in Los Angeles,USA .

CIFTIS has begun its 2nd promotion conference around the world after the 1st has been successfully held between May 28–June1, 2012 in Beijing . Vancouver viewed its second stop for this promotion tour. This event, sponsored by Ministry of Commerce of People’s Republic of China and Beijing municipal government, was led by Wang Xuyang, Director of Trade in Services and Commercial Services, Ministry of Commerce of China, who depicted a vivid illustration on CIFTIS’ mission and how it was running with the hope to build bridges for the high-end trade in services between the two countries

As the keynote speaker, Wang Xuyang also pointed out Canada enjoyed a long-standing reputation in fields like higher education ,agriculture, information technology, financial and services, aeronautics and astronautics,etc. CIFTIS would like to welcome the Canadian government agencies, business associations as well as the well-known enterprises and the authorities to take an active part in this event.

David Teng， Chairman of CCCICA ,stated in his speech, with the growing need of bilateral trade between the two countries, trade in services had revealed a charming glamour for transnational collaboration which makes it possible for those promising enterprises to explore new business opportunities across the boundary and have a finger in the pie.

About 50 companies in Canada attended the meeting, most of which have shown great interests in participating in the 2nd fair. Mr. Bill , President of a listed local company in petro and mining said that 1st CIFTIS hadmade considerable achievements, which attracted 1721 enterprises from 82 countries and regions around the world with a total turnover of $60.11 billion. The 2nd fair would probably bring up better prospects for China and North America in terms of trade in services collaboration, which would be an opportunity he was not going to miss out.

The meeting was supported Consulate-General of China in Vancouver. Yuan Zhanling, the Commercial Counsellor , was present at the meeting and delivered a speech.In addition, Representatives from members of congress also attended the meeting.
