On November 6, 2012, Chairman David Teng , Secretary-General Qian Hua and Vice-Chairman Yang Xianbiao paid a visit to All China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese(ACFROC) with regard to Canada-China Investment Summit(CCIS) , receiving a warm welcome from Chairman Lin Jun , Vice Chairmen Zhu Yilong and Wang Yongle of ACFROC. David Teng expressed sincere gratitude for the support and assistance offered by ACFROC to 2012CCIS held in Oct, 2012 in Vancouver, which were the indispensable attributes to the success of 2012 CCIS. At the same time, he shared the idea that 2013 CCIS would be held in Beijing in October.Lin Jun , Chairman of ACFROC, sang a high praise for what 2012 CCIS had achieved and showed great concern about the plan for the upcoming 2nd summit. He and his coworkers were willing to assist in building a communication & exchange platform for small and medium-sized enterprises in both countries. As Sino-Canadian bilateral relations is going sound and smoothly, it is a mutual benefit to offer a business forum for transnational cooperation and bridge the cultural difference in these two countries. What CCIC is endeavoring now is to provide them with an opportunity to know about each other’s strengths and weaknesses, eventually to promote bilateral economic and trade cooperation and reach win-win agreements. As David Teng reiterated, in accordance with the concept of “Chinese enterprises going abroad, Canadian counterparts coming in”, CCIS is designed to bridge entrepreneurs in both countries in terms of economic exchange and trade partnership expansion. Obviously, ACFROC always plays an irreplaceable role in connecting two sides. By adhering to Chairman Lin Jun’s best wishes for CCIS, we would keep on exploring bilateral investment opportunities and making consistent efforts to the success of 2013 CCIS.
