At noon March 18, 2014 ,CCCICA hosted a luncheon featured with Joe Oliver, Minister Canadian Natural Resources as the keynote speaker at the Executive Airport Plaza Hotel. The topic of the speech delivered by Minister Oliver is “The Government’s Comprehensive Work to Secure Canada’s Economy and Environment for Future Generations”introduced by Minister of State for Elderly Affairs Canada Alice Wong. Attendees also included Chairman of CCCICA Mr. Teng, MPs and other dignitaries at provincial and municipal levels.

In his speech , he pointed out there was no better symbol like the year of horse for the future of Canada’s ties with China and CCCICA inherited the legacy of Canadians, together we were building on the historic foundation of the Canada-China relationship.

He also strengthened China had been Canada’s fastest growing trade partner in recent years and was today one of the world’s great economic power with inevitable rising consumption of energy which was exactly the strength of Canada for supplying it.

Now, he reiterated,we were part of something historic: a renaissance for Canada and China, the chance to work together for the benefits of the citizens of both countries.
