CCCICA held a  Photographic Gallery Exhibit to commemorate the awful history and sacrifices made in World World II, calling for the whole world to safeguard the hard-earned justice and peace at the 70th Anniversary of Anti-Fascist War Victory.

Hon.Jason Kenney, Canada’s Minister of National Defense and Minister for Multiculturalism, as well as Ren Qiliang, Deputy Director of Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council of China,accompanied by Liu Fei ,  Consul General of China in Vancouver,  were present and delivered speeches  at the launching ceremony on August 20th. David Teng, Chairman of CCCICA offered a  welcoming address as well.   This Exhibit was also supported and by veterans from World War II, scholars and experts, and reps from all walks of life attending this event.

The tragedy of the Auschwitz Concentration Camp in Europe and the Nanjing Massacre in China were the darkest pages in human history and trampled basic human rights as well as righteousness and justice. Many countries and their peoples, including the Jewish people and the Chinese people, had suffered invasion by Fascism and militarism. With Canada and China being allies , they helped and supported each other in the anti-fascist war,  making significant contributions to the victory of World WarII .

The Exhibit offered  an opportunity for  all the peace-loving people around the world to remember historical lessons and safeguard the outcome of the Second World War to create a more peaceful future for human society.
